There's no better feeling than walking through a snowy landscape with the crunch of the snow beneath your feet and the icy coldness on your face. And if the sea of fog appears in the valley below, even better! Titlis offers the perfect conditions for this invigorating winter experience. Our network of perfectly prepared winter walking trails is around 50 km long. Why not take a break now and recharge your batteries in the stillness of the mountains!

Gerschnialp-Untertrübsee Hike

The Gerschnialp-Untertrübsee trail begins at Hotel Bänklialp (1,000 metres above sea level). Follow the trail along Bänklialpweg and head up through the magical snow-covered forest to Gerschnialp where you join the road to the cable car station. From here, the trail continues across the valley floor at the foot of Bitzistock to Untertrübsee (1,240 metres above sea level).

Obertrübsee-Hüethütte-Trübsee Station Trail

The Obertrübsee-Hüethütte-Trübsee Station walking trail begins at Obertrübsee mountain station (1,707 metres above sea level) or at Untertrübsee (via the Älplerseil cable car). From Obertrübsee, the path climbs steadily upwards to the Hüethütte on the frozen Trübsee lake. You can walk along the left or right side of the lake and on to Trübsee station (1,800 metres above sea level). You can also do this route in reverse.
